Pandora's Lid puts the latch back on the gate. It places your phone under administrative control, but entrusts the key to someone you know. Newly installed applications are suspended immediately before they can open, and web browsing is restricted to an allowlist of essential portals. When you wish to install a new tool or access an unlisted website, you ask your partner to open it for you. If they agree, the lock lifts. If they decline, the machine stays shut.
